    Little Ruckomechi is a small tented camp located in a private concession amid apple-ring acacias, on the edge of Mana Pools National Park, which is renowned for its lions, leopards and zebras. From the moment you arrive, you will be mesmerised by the magnificent landscape before you, overlooking the peaceful Zambezi River. Open only from April to the end of November, during the dry season, Little Ruckomechi comprises just 3 to 4 tents to guarantee ultimate privacy and a sense of experiencing a private safari. Built on stilts, the tents feature a wooden deck overlooking the vegetation. Inside, they are attractively decorated with local furniture and objects. After a day discovering the wildlife in Mana Pools National Park or in the private concession, you can relax in the swimming pool overlooking the Zambezi River. You will surely have the chance to catch sight of a few elephants that have ventured right into the camp to feed on the pods of the famous apple-ring acacias. In the evening, you will dine facing the river under a marquee or under the stars around a campfire, weather permitting.
