    The Peruvian Amazon

    Isolated yet accessible, the Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica lodge is located on the edge of the Tambopata National Reserve, where the Madre de Dios river winds through the rainforest of southern Peru. It consists of 35 wooden cabins on stilts, designed in the spirit of Amazonian tribal dwellings. They are understated, elegant and use only native plant materials, thatch, riparian wood and bamboo. To fully appreciate the environment, the ecolodge offers a myriad of activities alongside an explorer guide, tailored to each guest's interests and the weather conditions. One of the flagship excursions is the canopy suspension bridge circuit, 30 metres in the air, which allows visitors to observe the site's incredible biodiversity. You can also discover the river-facing spa and enjoy treatments based on local plants such as palms, ferns and ficus. The hotel requires a minimum stay of 2 nights.
