    A rather unusual hotel

    The Singular lives up to its name: it is a former cold-storage plant masterfully converted into a 57-room luxury hotel on the shores of the "Ultima Esperanza" fjord in the heart of Chilean Patagonia, close to the legendary Torres del Paine National Park. A few kilometres from Puerto Natales, it is an astonishing place to experience... The Singular is integrated into a post-Victorian national monument: “Frigorifico Puerto Bories”, a former cold-storage plant built in 1915 to export meat to Europe. This unique place, converted into an exceptional hotel, brilliantly combines historical heritage, industrial decor and sleek, chic comfort. The 2 restaurants, the bar and the museum are housed within the national monument, while an ultra-modern extension serves as a backdrop for 54 rooms and 3 spacious suites, all enjoying breath-taking views of the fjords. No fuss in the rooms—raw concrete, cream colours, panoramic picture windows—giving way to the spectacle of nature. The Singular naturally offers the opportunity to choose from more than twenty outdoor excursions to discover an authentic region, Patagonia...
