La Pousada Literaria is a former colonial residence located right in the heart of the historic town of Paraty, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The hotel has been fully restored by the Jacobsen Architecture practice to welcome its guests in an intimate atmosphere and a refined style. With its 23 rooms and suites set within a tropical garden, the hotel features a sleek, modern decor inspired by local Brazilian culture. You will be charmed by its tranquil atmosphere as well as its proximity to the port, where you can set off on a boat trip around the bay of Paraty and discover Saco do Mamanguá, the only fjord on the Brazilian coast. Chef Claudia Mascarenhas daily offers a selection of dishes inspired by local gastronomy using fresh local produce. You can also enjoy breakfast by the pool and dinner at the gourmet restaurant, Quintal das Letras.
