    Ratua is one of the 83 islands in the Vanuatu archipelago and is situated in the northern group next to Vanuatu's largest island, named Espiritu Santo. Sheltered between the islands of Malo and Aore, Ratua features 60 hectares of gently rolling topography that lends itself to exploration. Once on the island, you will fully grasp the organic experience on offer. You can discover the island on foot, by buggy, by bike or on horseback. The resort consists of 3 villages offering 15 individual villas built by hand from old teak wood in an Indo-Oceanic architectural style. You can take yoga classes on a large open-air platform overlooking the water or choose a relaxing treatment at the overwater spa. But the top prize goes to the water sports, which include kayaks, canoes, paddleboards, waterskiing, fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving for memorable aquatic encounters.     The hotel is committed to a sustainable tourism approach, respecting the environment and supporting local communities. The owners created the Ratua Foundation to support the education of the children of Vanuatu by funding schools, water and electricity networks, and so on. All the hotel's profits are donated exclusively to the foundation. The hotel grows its own fruit and vegetables in its organic kitchen garden, and its restaurant offers only a selection of meat and fish sourced from the local area.
