ETHICS
Saffire Freycinet is established on a former caravan park which the hotel has revegetated with 30,000 native plants. The lodge was built using natural materials such as Tasmanian timber, stone and leather. Saffire also collects rainwater and is equipped with energy-efficient facilities. In addition to supporting a charity every month, the hotel is involved in the «Save the Tasmanian Devil» programme, which aims to preserve the Tasmanian devil, an iconic endangered species.
