Set off at dawn with your guide to a nature reserve where the country's emblem, the kangaroo, thrives! After a short walk through the bush, you will enjoy a gourmet breakfast among the marsupials, which you can observe in complete peace.
ETHICS
The Louise is committed to more responsible tourism through a range of initiatives: the hotel has its own vegetable garden and sources 85% of its produce from local growers; it prioritises organic and seasonal ingredients; and it collects rainwater and filters it into drinking water. A greywater treatment system enables this water to be recycled for watering the estate’s gardens. The Louise recycles its waste and has installed a compost bin. Finally, the lodge employs 45 people from the local community and has set up a fund to support local charitable programmes.
