THE EXTRAORDINARY
Arkaba is a member of the prestigious selection Luxury Lodges of Australia and praises the concept of «Wild Bush Luxury», promising a rustic-chic Australian bush experience reminiscent of Africa. In this spirit, you can fly over the property by helicopter before being dropped off at an exclusive camp for an authentic stargazing dinner and a memorable night in a "swag" (an Australian-style bedroll)!
ETHICS
Respecting nature is the watchword at Arkaba. The ecolodge is committed to protection of its territory in order to preserve native species and biodiversity. At the lodge, hot water is produced by solar energy. Arkaba has chosen not to have televisions, electric kettles, minibars or telephones in the rooms to promote minimalism. In the kitchen, the dishes and wines served in the restaurant are mainly locally sourced and organic, and some of the produce is grown on site. Arkaba also minimises the use of plastic and harvests rainwater.
