THE EXTRAORDINARY
Just a stone's throw from the Great Barrier Reef, Qualia offers a James Bond-style experience to discover the iconic Heart Reef. After a memorable scenic helicopter flight over Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet, landing on the private helipad allows you to explore the lagoon or relax. The excursion, limited to six people, also includes a boat ride around the famous reef.
ETHICS
Qualia is committed to responsible and sustainable tourism. The resort uses solar panels and prioritises LED lighting to reduce its energy consumption. Water is recycled and recovered, and waste is sorted and composted as much as possible. Meals focus on local and seasonal produce, sourced from producers in the Whitsundays region. The staff take part in coral reef protection programmes and support local community initiatives, notably environmental education.
