Frigate, four degrees south of the equator
Frégate Island is a dream island in the Seychelles and a small luxury resort featuring 16 splendid residences set in a natural environment of primitive beauty. The vegetation, beaches, rocks, ocean, underwater fauna and birds all contribute to making this refined hotel unique, as it has discreetly integrated into nature while restoring the island's ecological balance. Covered in lush vegetation, bordered by seven fine white-sand beaches and punctuated by pink granite boulders, Frégate has become a true ecological reserve home to nearly 100 species of birds and more than 3,000 Aldabra tortoises. The construction of Frégate was subject to the strictest environmental regulations, and access to the island is strictly controlled to prevent any pollution. The island benefits from a natural water source that supplies the garden and an organic vegetable patch, where you can sample produce of absolute freshness. In the water, on the water, under the water and on dry land, you will fall under the spell of Frégate Island, which adds to its charms a spa perched 125 metres up that overlooks the entire island.

ETHICS
Frégate cares for its ecology: construction materials used, goods landed, foreign animal species forbidden, protection of native animals (marine and land tortoises, birds including the rare Magpie Robin). It is also a nurturing land that houses a prolific organic vegetable garden and greenhouses. 2 species of marine turtles are protected there, not to mention the 3,000 Aldabra giant land tortoises!!!
