    THE EXTRAORDINARY

    We owe the legendary hotel's early days in the 1950s to Rémy de Haenen. Having fallen under the spell of the sublime St Jean Bay, the adventurer decided to build his house on the rocky promontory overlooking it. The place was so glamorous and welcoming, and so astonishing too, that it very quickly became frequented by all of Hollywood. Its legend still endures today.
