THE EXTRAORDINARY
Tiamo is a paradise for diving enthusiasts, who can swim with stingrays, sawfish and parrotfish. Andros Island lies off the third-largest barrier reef in the world. Thanks to its PADI centre, Tiamo offers its guests the opportunity to experience unforgettable diving. The island also claims to be the bonefish angling capital of the world, an astonishing fish that disappears into the sun's reflections; it can only be caught with great skill, in accordance with the rules of the art and environmental protection.
ETHICS
The owners of the Tiamo resort are very committed to sustainable development and the preservation of the Andros ecosystem. They have therefore built an eco-lodge running on solar energy, constructed mainly from reclaimed materials (pine wood, thatch, natural stone) and without cutting down a single tree. Thanks to its coral nursery, Tiamo actively contributes to the protection of the third largest barrier reef in the world.
