Rosa Alpina – An Aman Partner Hotel

A COSY NEST IN THE DOLOMITES

In the heart of the Dolomites, within a UNESCO World Heritage natural setting, Rosa Alpina is a family-run boutique hotel managed for three generations by the Pizzinini family. This former inn houses 52 tastefully decorated rooms and suites, blending a warm alpine style with contemporary amenities. Most of the accommodation features a terrace or balcony from which to enjoy the views of the mountain and the picturesque village of San Cassiano. For an even more exclusive stay, opt for the spacious three-bedroom Penthouse located on the fourth floor of the hotel, or choose the luxurious Chalet Zeno, which will blow you away with its modern elegance and outdoor jacuzzi. Regarding dining, Rosa Alpina offers three culinary styles: the haute cuisine of the 3-Michelin-starred St. Hubertus restaurant, the relaxed atmosphere of Limonaia where breakfast is served, and the convivial Italian cuisine of the Wine Bar & Grill. As a bonus, there is the chance to enjoy a genuine fondue at Fondue Stuben after a thrilling day on the slopes. The resort of Alta Badia is packed with outdoor activities: skiing, Nordic walking, mountain biking or even rock climbing will delight sports enthusiasts. And for relaxation fans, the hotel offers two distinct wellness areas for families and adults, including treatment rooms, saunas, steam rooms, a jacuzzi, swimming pools and a yoga studio. In November 2020, Rosa Alpina became a partner hotel of the Aman group.

THE EXTRAORDINARY

The Rosa Alpina hotel features two private chalets perched at an altitude of 2000 metres in the mountains. One can be booked by the day for a refreshing break in the heart of nature. The second is a two-storey chalet with a fireplace where guests can spend a night away from the world, aimed at the more adventurous (no hot water and limited electricity). The hotel takes care of bringing meals up to the chalet, and mountain bikes are available for the descent down the mountain. A unique experience that is a stark contrast to everyday life!

ETHICS

The Rosa Alpina Hotel minimises its energy and water consumption as much as possible, optimises its waste management and gives preference to suppliers who share the same approach. The hotel is therefore powered entirely by green energy from hydroelectric sources. When it comes to catering, the hotel creates menus using only local and seasonal produce, in line with its «Cook the Mountain» concept. Rosa Alpina also monitors air quality within the hotel and trains its staff in more responsible management of the establishment.
