In the Malay language, Sentosa means «peace and tranquillity» and the Capella has all the characteristics of this haven of peace, offering impeccable and personalised service. The hotel enjoys an exceptional location close to Palawan beach and one of Asia's most renowned golf courses.     The Capella hotel was a 19th-century historical building that served as quarters for British army officers. During its renovation, the renowned architectural firm Foster & Partners managed to preserve all the historical character of the building by adding contemporary-style extensions to create a luxury establishment in perfect harmony with the original structure.
