    Shangri-La Boracay is committed to protecting the fragile and threatened local flora and fauna. The hotel has set up a marine sanctuary restoration project featuring artificial reefs, encouraging the recovery of marine life and coral reefs. The hotel also supports students at a secondary school on the island to encourage the education of the islanders.
