    Situated in a residential neighbourhood near the golf course, Villa Samadhi is a haven of peace right in the heart of the capital, Kuala Lumpur. This intimate retreat is home to 21 rooms in traditional Malay and colonial styles, featuring carved wooden screens and beautiful exotic hardwood parquet flooring. The rooms overlook the pool, which resembles a lagoon surrounded by palm trees. Villa Samadhi is an adults-only property, as the hotel is not suitable for children under 16 (certain facilities may pose a safety hazard to young children). The poolside restaurant serves delicious Malay and Western cuisine, made with local and seasonal produce. After a day spent in the hustle and bustle of Kuala Lumpur, you can relax in one of the poolside armchairs while sipping a delicious cocktail concocted by the hotel barman and watching the sublime sunset.

    THE EXTRAORDINARY

    For a day, you will head towards Kuala Gandah to experience an immersion alongside elephants in Malaysia's only conservation and protection centre, which is dedicated to safeguarding and reintroducing these pachyderms. Most of the elephants have been rescued from abuse, and the teams at this sanctuary ensure their rehabilitation into their natural environment. You will be able to meet the team that cares for the elephants, and you can even swim with them and wash them.

    ETHICS

    Villa Samadhi was built exclusively using local and natural materials, including bamboo and wood, to ensure the hotel is in harmony with the neighbourhood's environment. All the woodwork was crafted by local artisans from Malaysia.
