Sujan The Serai

Far from the hustle and bustle of Jaisalmer, amidst an endless landscape of dunes and steppes, the pop-up camp The Serai is set up every year from October to April, consisting of 21 spacious white canvas tents. Inspired by the royal caravans of Rajputana, the tents are luxuriously appointed and decorated in an elegant colonial style. Each tent has its own terrace, and some feature a private garden and a small plunge pool. The restaurant, also set up under a tent, serves Indian and Western dishes cooked over a wood fire and prepared with organic produce grown on-site. Depending on your mood, you can choose to dine either in the restaurant, in a subdued, candlelit atmosphere, or tucked away in the camp under the stars to enjoy the magical and serene ambience of the desert. The Serai is a wonderful place in the heart of the desert, serving as an ideal base for admiring the dunes of the Thar Desert, discovering the surrounding villages and observing the desert wildlife.
