Aman-i-Khas

The name Aman-i-Khás comes from the words «aman», meaning «peace», and «khas», meaning «privileged», as Aman sets itself apart from its competitors with its dedicated and personalised butler service. The Aman-i-Khás property was originally a former hunting estate of the Maharajahs of Jaipur. It is a luxury, ephemeral, nomadic tented camp nestled in nature on the edge of Ranthambore National Park, which is renowned for being one of the best spots for wildlife viewing in India. The camp features 10 luxury tents, set up every year from October to April, which is the most favourable period for spotting the famous Bengal tigers. The tents are inspired by Mughal encampment tents. They are very spacious at over 100 m² and all feature an open veranda facing the outdoors, whilst the interior is inspired by a sober, chic colonial style with teak furniture. The restaurant, also set up in a tent, offers Indian and Western dishes prepared by the Chef with a selection of vegetables, fruit and herbs from the estate's organic kitchen garden, which you will enjoy in an intimate atmosphere by candlelight.
