Little & Forest Chem Chem

Over there, everything is calm...

The owners of Chem Chem had the wisdom to create 3 ultra-refined and complementary lodges between Lake Manyara and Tarangire National Park, thus offering, thanks to their 2 private concessions totalling over 20,000 ha, an exceptional migration corridor for animals between the two ecosystems. Combining 2 of their lodges is a great idea. On the Tarangire side, Little Chem Chem offers 6 safari tents (children aged 8 and over) and nearby Forest Chem Chem (children of all ages) only 4, but this camp is booked exclusively for families and small groups. Chem Chem consistently expresses its philosophy of the slow safari, where one learns to reconnect with nature, for the greatest benefit of all.

THE EXTRAORDINARY

Chem Chem's philosophy of the slow safari is a true gamble: slowing down to appreciate, stopping to listen, and ultimately realising that it is only by taking one's time that one can soak up the spirit of a country while nurturing one's own mind and heart. A truly beautiful promise...

ETHICS

The owners of Chem Chem, Fabia and Nicolas, have created their own foundation whose aim is to protect the natural environment by helping local communities to look after the wildlife. In collaboration with communities, teachers and authorities, the foundation supports the education system by offering training to teachers and raising children's awareness of their ecosystem.
