    At Esiweni, a gourmet safari

    Esiweni Lodge is an intimate and exclusive lodge of just 5 luxury suites that allows you to fully appreciate the beauty of KwaZulu-Natal, one of South Africa's richest regions in terms of history, culture and tradition. The lodge, taken over by a French couple in love with the area, has been completely renovated to showcase sleek, chic African interior design in greige tones, where every detail has been thought out and meticulously scrutinised. The lodge's clifftop location is quite simply spectacular with zero visual pollution! The Nambiti private game reserve is the only Big Five reserve in the region, home to abundant wildlife with a strong focus on cheetahs, all without the inconvenience of malaria, which makes the trip and the experience all the more enjoyable. The rugged location of the lodge is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

    • Via the lodge: Swimming pool, massage, 4x4 safari, walking safari, fly fishing, bush breakfast and/or dinner, visit to the cheetah rehabilitation centre.

    ETHICS

    Esiweni is a small eco-conscious lodge and strives to minimise its environmental impact as much as possible. It leases the land from the Zulus and primarily employs them at the lodge in order to support local communities and involve them in their project.
