One&Only Gorilla's Nest

A nest in the forest

Nestled in the foothills of Volcanoes National Park, One&Only Gorilla’s Nest is set in the heart of a superb eucalyptus forest which inspired the lodge’s name. Opened in late 2019, Kerzner Group has created another new haven, continuing their "nature resorts" concept already established in Rwanda with the opening of Nyungwe House in 2018. This time, guests are invited to discover the majestic mountain gorillas in their natural habitat. Situated at an altitude of 2,300 metres within a lush forest landscape, the lodge creates the illusion of being cut off from the world. However, it is only about ten minutes from the entrance to Volcanoes National Park, the gorillas' protected area. The lodge welcomes its guests in 18 lodges and 3 splendid suites with sleek lines, utilising wood, transparency, and Rwandan design codes in earthy tones. O&O will awaken your spirit of adventure! Gorilla permits from age 15.
