THE EXTRAORDINARY
The Twyfelfontein site, a UNESCO World Heritage site, features more than 2,000 rock engravings on the red sandstone created by hunter-gatherers more than 1,000 years BC. It reveals a collection of animals and paw prints, as well as the «Lion Man», depicting the transformation of a human into an animal.
ETHICS
Mowani is an eco-friendly camp built from organic materials in total harmony with the natural site. It is barely visible to the naked eye, with its dome-shaped thatched roofs perfectly mimicking the surrounding enormous granite boulders. Its design evokes a nostalgic feeling of Herero villages.
