THE EXTRAORDINARY
Abu Camp is above all a story of love and elephant conservation that you are invited to discover and share. You will thus be introduced to the camp's herd, part of which has been reintroduced into the wild and is monitored to feed behavioural research; and the other which goes back and forth between the bush and the camp.
ETHICS
The idea behind Abu Camp is to rescue elephants from zoos, keep them in the herd destined for safaris, and then gradually reintroduce them to the wild by tracking their movements via satellite in order to conduct in-depth research that can help all National Parks better manage their elephant populations.
