Abu Camp

Abu Camp is a small jewel in the south of the Moremi Reserve. It is an intimate luxury camp offering exceptional safaris in the Okavango Delta. Its 6 large tents, decorated in an ultra-refined colonial style, face a lagoon populated by hippos and colourful birds, and the safari experience can be enjoyed right from your room! Abu Camp is a true haven of peace, refinement and luxury, in the south-west of the Moremi Reserve, on a 180,000-hectare private reserve. Abu takes its name from one of the first elephants that made the reputation of the Okavango Delta's original elephant-back safari camp nearly 18 years ago. Today, the camp nestles in a splendid forest on the edge of a lagoon home to a pod of hippos. 6 tents elevated on an exotic hardwood deck are each decorated in a different style, serving as a setting for splendid colonial antiques. Abu is a unique place that allows for an enriching encounter between man and elephant. Safaris take place in 4x4 vehicles, on foot, by boat or by mokoro, depending on the weather and your desires – treat yourself... Note: Children accepted from 6 years old, but no family tent.
