Crosby Street Hotel

Kit Kemp in New York

Situated in a quiet cobbled street in the vibrant Soho district, the Crosby Street Hotel boasts a superb glass façade, enhanced by electric blue lights... This promises a contemporary and flashy boutique hotel! But inside, the hotel offers an elegant atmosphere where a magnificent dark wooden floor serves as a backdrop for splendid works of art. The Crosby Street Hotel brings a bold touch of dynamism to the historic buildings and cobbled streets of central Manhattan. Built on the site of a former car park in the SoHo district, each loft-warehouse-style room is unique, and all of the Crosby suites on the upper floors offer 360-degree views of the countless skyscrapers of the city that never sleeps. The neighbourhood's industrial past now gives way to a minimalist and chic façade, for a hotel that has become "iconic" in New York. The Crosby Bar offers modern American cuisine throughout the day, where you can enjoy a variety of original cocktails. In the afternoon, let yourself be carried away by the traditional afternoon tea, served daily on the hotel terrace and featuring a detox tea.

THE EXTRAORDINARY

The perfect balance of classic and modern! Kit Kemp, the famous and renowned British owner and designer of Firmdale Hotels, tells us that every room has a story... The aesthetic of this design guru reflects a fresh style, where eras are mixed. The Crosby grows its own vegetables from its urban kitchen garden located on the 12th floor. As they would say in New York, the Crosby is a «made by originals» that will surprise you!

ETHICS

Respectful of its industrial historic environment, the Crosby Street Hotel wanted to use sustainable materials and energy-efficient technologies for its construction. The brick and stone pay homage to the neighbourhood's urban landscape, while the large glass shopfronts remind us that we are indeed in SoHo, the heartland of New York lofts. Certified by the US Green Building Council, the Crosby Street Hotel received LEED Gold (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design) status.
