    Royal Zambezi Lodge sits on the banks of the famous Lower Zambezi river, upstream from Lake Kariba. It is a flat, flooded region offering a unique and rich ecosystem for wildlife. The lodge has found the perfect balance between modernity, comfort and authenticity, offering 15 lovely ethnic suites and one of the only spas in Zambia. The Lower Zambezi marks the border between the Lower Zambezi National Park (Zambia) and the Mana Pools Reserve (Zimbabwe). On the edge of this strategic waterway lies the refined Royal Zambezi Lodge, displaying all its charms to welcome guests keen to venture in style into Zambia's newest park, covering over 4,000 km² and home to thousands of elephants, hippos and crocodiles.     Royal Zambezi Lodge is one of the few lodges in Zambia to have created a bush spa above the lodge offering breath-taking views of the Zambezi. You can try Ukuchina, a traditional Zambian massage, using hot and cold towels and essential oils through active compressions on the body.

    Royal Zambezi Lodge actively participates in CLZ, Conservation Lower Zambezi, an association dedicated to protecting a region threatened by poaching and the misuse of resources. CLZ carries out surveillance patrols, treats injured animals, and educates communities on protecting their habitat.
