    Mayakoba means "on the water" in the Mayan language. The Rosewood Mayakoba hotel blends seamlessly into its unspoilt natural environment, surrounded by magnificent lagoons and mangrove forests, and bordered by a superb white-sand beach.     ETHICS

    Near the hotel stands a school built by the hotel, dedicated to the children of the hotel staff and local young people so that they can receive a bilingual education. This fine initiative reflects a genuine commitment by Mayakoba to guarantee a good education for children. A volunteering project has been set up to provide all necessary help and financial and material contribution to the sustainability of this community and educational project.
