Patagonia Camp

The charm of a yurt in Patagonia

Nestled on the shores of the superb Lake Toro and facing the mythical Torres del Paine, Patagonia Camp is an «eco-chic» camp of 23 yurts with stunning charm. The initial idea is simple: protect our planet by building beautifully and intelligently while offering eco-aware excursions. An ideal retreat to recharge your batteries and feel closer to nature. Patagonia Camp is one of Latin America's first luxury ecological camps. Discreetly sheltered in a forest of robles, 23 yurts stand on stilts and are connected by pretty wooden walkways. The interior features typically Patagonian decoration in shades of white and camel. Each yurt has a private terrace opening onto nature and the lake, a lovely en-suite bathroom, and a skylight offering the chance at night to observe the stars from your bed. A wide range of excursions is offered on an a la carte basis (trekking, bird and wildlife watching, kayaking, fishing, horseback riding...), which dictates a stay of 3 to 5 nights depending on your desires and «outdoor» needs.

THE EXTRAORDINARY

The concept of glamping (otherwise known as glamorous camping) is given a highly poetic reimagining by Patagonia Camp. Staying in a yurt is an unusual experience as it allows you to experience the wind, rain, stars and scents of the Patagonian steppe in a unique way.

ETHICS

Patagonia Camp is committed to caring for the Patagonian land. The Camp's architecture has been designed to adapt to the landscape; the yurts are built on stilts in order to preserve the plants, shrubs and trees that have been growing here for hundreds of years. Water is treated on site, the products used are biodegradable, composting is used for the organic garden, and energy consumption is kept to a minimum.
