Jeeva Beloam Beach Camp

Jeeva Beloam, an eco-chic camp

Tucked away in a lush cove at the heart of a 55-hectare nature reserve lies Jeeva Beloam camp, a wild and intimate haven that recreates the architecture of Sasak fishing camps. Its 11 thatched chalets with alang-alang roofs, known as «berugas», have been built from recycled wood and bamboo, drawing inspiration from a very distinct local traditional style. Each beruga features an outdoor terrace with a daybed for relaxing and taking in the magnificent view of the Timor Sea, facing the island of Sumbawa. Jeeva Beloam invites you to drift along with the rhythm of the waves and feel cut off from the world. It is the ideal place to recharge your batteries, rest in your beruga, enjoy nature through water sports such as diving and exploring the seabed, or indulge in a traditional Indonesian massage on the white sand beach.

ETHICS

Jeeva Resorts« mission is inspired by a passion for responsible travel and a strong commitment to Indonesian culture. In the Sasak language, Jeeva translates as »soul«. The preservation of the environment, heritage, and the support of local communities via responsible tourism is reflected in every resort. Thus Jeeva truly reflects the »soul" of its people. At Beloam, solar energy powers the facilities during the day, and rainwater is harvested to minimise the resort's water consumption.
