    Alila Diwa Goa was designed to minimise its environmental impact by using local materials (such as laterite stone) and taking into account the preservation of the surrounding trees and paddy fields and the many migratory animals that have made their home there.; The hotel also supports projects within the local community with the ‘Father Basilio Andrade Memorial’ Higher Secondary School to improve the condition of the school and its infrastructure, as well as sponsoring sports equipment for a football club in Majorda.
