Naibor, theatre of the great migration
Naibor is a collection of 3 intimate safari camps in the heart of the Masai Mara Reserve: Main Naibor, the historic camp with 7 tents; Little Naibor, the more exclusive camp with 2 family tents; and finally Naibor Wilderness, the more adventurous camp with 3 tents. The Naibor camps are nestled beneath a canopy on the banks of the Talek River, in the heart of the world-famous Masai Mara Reserve in southern Kenya. The superb cream canvas tents pitched in the shade of large acacia trees offer remarkable comfort in a refined oriental style, featuring a large wild fig wood bed, a private veranda and a sofa with multiple burnt-sienna cushions. It is a one-of-a-kind base camp from which to discover a legendary region known for its great wildebeest migrations and its tribe of proud, red-draped warriors, the Maasai. Naibor is just a twenty-minute 4x4 drive from the famous Mara River, the setting for epic scenes between wildebeest and zebras in search of green pastures and a cohort of predators lured by the abundance of fresh meat, not to mention the relentless crocodiles lying in ambush in the waters.
