Become an actor in your journey

Purchasing a trip from LUXeTHIKA means participating in a logic of environmental and human protection, as we select hotels and lodges that take concrete action in favour of sustainable and equitable tourism.

If you wish to go further, we suggest you offset your CO2 emissions2 generated by your trip by supporting environmental and social field projects through the Foundation GoodPlanet.

Finally, when staying at an establishment offering participatory programmes, we will outline the concrete actions you can take to contribute to the protection of nature and/or the improvement of local communities' living conditions.

In Namibia with Desert Rhino Camp

Join the Save The Rhino Trust team to track the black rhino in the desert landscape of Palmwag, either by 4x4 or on foot. Sightings are done in small groups and rotated across different areas to minimise the impact on the animal. The organisation and the camp collaborate to save this iconic, endangered animal, notably by supporting local communities who are the primary guardians of its conservation.

In Costa Rica with Lapa Rios

Help protect the exceptional biodiversity of the Lapa Rios Reserve. Install cameras in the forest and collect their images to gather essential data for feline conservation. Participate in the reforestation programme by replanting primary forest species. Run for a good cause at the annual Lapathon, a race to raise funds for local communities.

To Fiji with Six Senses Fiji

The Six Senses Fiji has introduced a marine conservation programme dedicated to protecting coral ecosystems. Join the team to collect data on marine life (location, size, health status, etc.), look after young corals in the nursery, transplant these corals to restore damaged reefs, and clear algae from the coast.
