    Sol y Luna, nestled at an altitude of 2,800 metres in the Sacred Valley of the Incas, welcomes its guests into a setting of breathtaking natural beauty with views of the Andes mountain range. Its 43 individual casitas are spacious, light-filled and offer stunning views of the Urubamba Valley. Each casita features personalised decoration in vibrant regional colours, enhanced by Peruvian arts and crafts. They blend seamlessly into nature thanks to the use of natural building materials sourced from the region. The property has a unique atmosphere, and its garden is home to more than thirty species of birds, such as the giant Patagonian hummingbird, as well as numerous trees like the polylepis, an endangered species. To awaken your tastebuds, the hotel features two gourmet restaurants: Killa Wasi, which showcases local terroir, and Wayra, which ventures into creative cuisine. The outdoor activities are exhilarating, with quad biking, mountain biking, horse riding, kayaking and even paragliding with the condors on the programme!

    The establishment chooses its suppliers from neighbouring small organic producers, whom it helps to develop. It has also created the Sol y Luna Foundation, which has become an important player in local development. The latter has set up an intercultural school where children from neighbouring communities have access to a wide range of education, including nutrition and foreign language learning.
