Inkaterra La Casona

A weekend getaway

Inkaterra La Casona was carefully restored for nearly 5 years to become the first luxury boutique hotel in the heart of the historic centre of Cusco. The residence boasts a rich history, having been used by the Inca army for training, and notable figures such as Simón Bolívar have stayed there. La Casona comprises 11 colonial-style suites, all decorated with elegance and simplicity. Each room features a fireplace, beautiful Baroque furniture and pre-Columbian paintings that are in perfect harmony with the colonial architecture and the stone walls of the residence. With its unique style, the hotel is an exclusive and intimate little gem, focused on culture and art, which offers a true journey back in time to the colonial era. Thanks to its prime location, it is an excellent starting point for discovering the beautiful historic city of Cusco and the surrounding villages and sites, such as the mythical Machu Picchu.
