THE EXTRAORDINARY
Sal Salis is a member of the prestigious selection Luxury Lodges of Australia. Whale sharks gather in large numbers (around 300 individuals) every year at Ningaloo Reef, which is one of the best places in the world to spot these ocean giants. Between mid-March and mid-July, you can enjoy a truly unique experience by swimming alongside the whale sharks, observing them up close and feeling as though time has stood still.
ETHICS
The tents at the Sal Salis Ningaloo Reef camp blend seamlessly into the natural landscape and have been built on wooden platforms to limit soil and dune erosion. Electricity throughout the entire camp comes from solar panels and water usage is strictly controlled in order to continue preserving the environment.
