Luxurious, eco-sensitive and romantic, Longitude 131° is situated at the edge of two UNESCO World Heritage-listed National Parks: Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Discreetly nestled on a dune, 16 elegant white pavilions face the sacred rock of Ayers Rock. A unique and exclusive experience to discover the natural and cultural wonders of the famous «Red Centre». With just 16 exceptional tents, Longitude offers breathtaking views of the desert and the mythical Uluru. From your tent, dedicated to an Australian pioneer and decorated in a safari-inspired style, you can watch the rock change colour from carmine red to cardinal violet, and easily spot a dingo, kangaroo or brumby. Longitude offers a myriad of experiences organised twice daily to discover unique natural sites and immerse yourself in the Aboriginal «Anangu» culture. A stay of at least 2 to 3 nights is essential to soak up the magic of the place and feel the extraordinary energy of a site revered for millennia.

Located at longitude 131° and less than 10 km from the sacred rock, its construction was authorised subject to very strict rules regarding ecology and environmental impact. The owners, Baillie Lodges, ensure meticulous management of energy, waste and water to protect biodiversity and respect Australia's most iconic sacred site. They have forged close ties with local communities for food, employees, artisans, artists, and so on.
