Shanti, a spa or nothing

Shanti Maurice is first and foremost a fantastic spa and secondly a discreet and refined luxury hotel. Set within 14 hectares of tropical gardens in St Félix in the south of the island, it offers unforgettable views of the mountains and the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean. 44 suites and 17 contemporary-designed villas have been created to prolong the well-being provided at the spa. The hotel was designed as a spa destination in its own right and offers personalised treatment and activity programmes aimed at improving the balance between body and mind. Architect Jean-Marc Eynaud created the oceanfront hotel on a former sugarcane plantation, giving the illusion that nature has invaded the space. Both contemporary and timeless, the interior design of the 44 suites and 17 villas reflects the influence of Asian and tropical cultures, with 4 choices ranging from 81 m² for the smallest to 800 m² for the immense villa. Shanti Maurice is a true temple of relaxation that you leave with regret.
