LUX* Grand Baie

A BOUTIQUE HOTEL CONCEPT & AVANT-GARDE

A marvel of modernity, LUX* Grand Baie was born from the fertile imagination of British interior designer Kelly Hoppen and Mauritian architect Jean-François Adam. Perfectly integrated into its natural environment, the boutique hotel with its avant-garde lines, inspired by traditional boat sails, seems to blend into the pretty white sand beach of Grand Baie. This architectural achievement is carried through into all spaces, both interior and exterior, with a range of original concepts, such as the café-bar Maison Lux, the beach club restaurant Beach Rouge, the incredible restaurant - bar Kiss rooftop artisan ice cream parlour Here, the fine dining Asian restaurant Love kiss... Nothing stops the boundless imagination of the LUX group, which also offers an ultra-innovative wellness experience featuring a rooftop "muscle up", a yoga-body studio, a cycling room and a magnificent ME hydrotherapy spa focus with hammam, sauna, lanconium, sensory shower... The 96 suites and 8 villas, designed in a loft spirit, all offer generous sea views and come in black & white with bright touches of sand beige. The gamble has paid off, LUX* Grand Baie managed to redefine the codes of a new luxury.

The dining experience at the Ai KISU restaurant captivates you from the moment you step inside: the walls are adorned with modern Japanese art, and chefs in the open kitchen introduce you to flavourful dishes inspired by the many cuisines of Asia. A soy sauce sommelier moves between the tables, eclectic dishes are served and refined cocktails are prepared. The spectacle of Warayaki straw-fire cooking adds warmth to the atmosphere.

ETHICS

Keen to preserve the environment, LUX* Grand Baie is committed to an ambitious eco-friendly approach, offering sustainable menus, combating food waste in collaboration with Foodwise (20 meals donated to schoolchildren every week), raising environmental awareness among younger guests with Little Green Fingers at PLAY and optimising its energy consumption. The establishment does not use single-use plastic water bottles, but instead uses a Nordaq filtration system, with water served in reusable glass bottles.
