    The hotel has a large floating solar installation that supplies 30% of its energy requirements. Single-use plastic has been banned in favour of reusable bottles, bamboo cups and paper straws. LUX* ME Spa products are not tested on animals and are made from natural ingredients. The hotel prioritises locally sourced produce for its restaurants. Finally, the property has a marine biology centre dedicated to conducting scientific research and restoring and preserving coral reefs.
