    Iharana, unusual bush camp

    Near the Ankarana National Park, Iharana Bushcamp is nestled in the heart of a uniquely beautiful natural site, facing a lake with an imposing massif of tsingy as a backdrop. This chic rustic lodge offers 18 charming cabanas for travellers in search of an authentic Malagasy experience. Iharana Bushcamp offers cabins inspired by traditional Malagasy dwellings, featuring ochre wattle and daub and roofs covered with satrana palm leaves. Open to nature, they blend wonderfully into their original environment, either on stilts overlooking the lake or right on the ground in the shade of the mango trees. The main lodge showcases local materials and regional craftsmanship, with wood reigning supreme. There is no air conditioning, no television and no telephone, making it the ideal place to switch off and enjoy outdoor sports, such as hikes in the tsingy, which you can reach from the lodge after a short pirogue trip. The experience is completed by attentive service and inventive Malagasy cuisine crafted by the chef.

Iharana also helps to fund micro-projects (support for schools and medical clinics, development of natural sites, etc.).
