    Quark Expeditions has been exploring the polar regions for nearly three decades, taking travellers on unforgettable adventures in the Arctic and Antarctic. As a pioneer and leader in polar adventures, its mission is to take passengers beyond the ordinary, the predictable and the expected. Quark’s expeditions have always been driven by the discovery of new horizons and a commitment to taking clients where other ships cannot go. Quark offers experienced expedition teams and passionate polar specialists, with English-speaking departures as well as bilingual French/English departures on certain dates. The Ultramarine is the newest addition to the Quark fleet, accommodating 199 passengers and 140 crew members aboard a 128-metre-long and 21.5-metre-wide Ice Class 1A+, PC6 vessel. It offers the most comprehensive range of adventure activities on the market, along with a variety of spacious suites ranging from 21 to 52 m², breathtaking public spaces, and more outdoor wildlife viewing areas than any other expedition ship of the same size. This is coupled with an innovative combination of sustainable development features that exceed all industry standards.
