    Up close to the wildlife of the Amazon River

    Designed by architect Jordi Puig, the Aria Amazon is a river cruise ship custom-built to explore the Amazon River and its incredible biodiversity. Navigate through the famous Pacaya-Samiria National Reserve in absolute comfort while preserving the delicate nature of the Peruvian Amazon. On board, 16 spacious cabins featuring large picture windows offer passengers uninterrupted views of the iconic South American river and the rainforests lining its banks. The rooms, furnished with wood and refined textiles, offer a level of comfort that is as pleasant as it is unexpected in one of the wildest regions on the planet. As well as housing a cosy lounge and bar, the upper deck features an observation terrace and an outdoor Jacuzzi for a dip while admiring nature. In the dining room, you can savour the finest Peruvian cuisine with a menu created by Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, a chef renowned for his dishes featuring typical Amazonian flavours. You will set off to explore the river's treasures in small groups of no more than 8 people, accompanied by passionate naturalist guides. The exceptional flora and fauna of the Amazon, as well as the traditions of the river dwellers, will hold no more secrets for you!

    The Aria Amazon is fitted with a water treatment system and fuel-efficient engines that minimise exhaust emissions. The timber used in the ship’s construction comes from responsible sources, and no chemical cleaning products are used on board. 70% of the ingredients used in the ship’s kitchen are sourced from local farmers. Aqua Expeditions is also committed to various programmes aimed at conserving biodiversity and supporting local communities.
