The hotel utilises innovative energy systems (biomass, combined heat and power, and absorption air conditioning). It minimises its water consumption, reduces its use of plastic and optimises its waste management. The hotel sources local produce from sustainable farms for its catering services, has developed its own range of natural cosmetics, and 60% of its staff are from the local area.
