Amanpulo

Kite Chic

Set on the private island of Pamalican, which is only accessible by private plane from Manila, the Amanpulo hotel is a unique and exclusive retreat nestled in lush, unspoilt nature. Surrounded by superb white-sand beaches and crystal-clear waters, the island is protected by a coral reef that is home to a multitude of breathtaking exotic fish. The casitas and villas, located on the hillside or near the beach, have been built from bamboo and palm leaves, drawing inspiration from traditional Philippine houses. Inside, the decor is a blend of Asian and contemporary styles, featuring elegant rattan and wooden furniture. In addition to its rich marine life, the island is also a sanctuary for a large number of bird species, and you will find a practical guide in your villa to help you identify them. On the culinary front, a choice of three restaurants welcomes you to serve exceptionally fresh local, Japanese or fusion cuisine. As for activities, the sea holds in store wonderful underwater encounters and exhilarating kite-surfing. To banish any tension, the spa steps in with a fine range of expert treatments.
