THE EXTRAORDINARY
Siwandu is a sublime safari camp that has been taken over and wonderfully remodelled by the former owners of Maison du Monde. They have successfully given the former Selous Safari Camp a new identity by bringing a "French touch" while respecting the traditions of the safari and the host country, Tanzania. Safaris are offered on an exclusive basis, giving guests the flexibility to set off at the time of their choice and focus on viewing the animals that inspire their passion.
ETHICS
The umbrella brand Laba Laba means butterfly in a Central African dialect. This choice was driven by the idea that butterflies are excellent indicators of the quality of the environment that the owners wish to protect at all costs. To this end, they have implemented a strict policy regarding the management of water, energy, organic products, the recyclable materials used, and local employment. Every guest who stays in one of their camps takes part in the virtuous circle that has been established and in its development.
