Ikuka Safari Camp

RUAHA AS FAR AS THE EYE CAN SEE

Nestled in the heart of the Ruaha National Park, Ikuka Safari Camp is a sanctuary offering an intimate and luxurious safari experience. Overlooking the vast plains of a savannah dotted with baobabs, the camp features just seven open-fronted suites that blend harmoniously into nature and offer breath-taking views. The first three tents face the sunrise, whilst the other three are perfectly positioned to enjoy the golden hues of the sunset. A seventh and final two-bedroom villa with a private pool is now available for families. Designed using natural materials and local quartz stones, the suites possess the chic and charm of an authentic and peaceful Africa. Some feature a private pool for relaxing after a busy day on safari. The light-filled communal areas have been designed to make guests feel at home. Upstairs, there is an additional relaxation area, adorned with plush cushions and a cosy library, offering a haven of peace for quiet contemplation. A short walk away is a raised wooden deck, where guests can relax by a welcoming swimming pool. Meals are shared around a large communal table, offering moments of conviviality and sharing, just like the owners, Marc and Chloé. The fresh and flavoursome cuisine reflects the region's flavours. Upon request, meals can be transformed into unique dining experiences, served in the middle of the savannah beneath the starry African sky. Staying at Ikuka Camp offers an off-the-beaten-track safari experience by 4x4 or on foot. Discover a wondrous spectacle within a concession of over 10,300 sq km and observe Ruaha's rich biodiversity, including elephants, lions, wild dogs, a wide variety of birds and, above all, majestic baobabs.
