Tintswalo Safari Lodge

Tintswalo, a scent of adventure

Tintswalo is a safari lodge situated in the Manyeleti Private Concession, bordered to the north by the Timbavati Reserve, to the south by the Sabi Sand and to the east by the Kruger National Park. The lodge and its 8 superb colonial suites have been built in a sycamore fig forest on the banks of a seasonal river, the setting for vibrant wildlife sightings. Created in 1963, the Manyeleti Reserve was transformed after the turbulent apartheid era into a sustainable eco-tourism project between local communities and the concession owners. Tintswalo Safari Lodge offers an exclusive approach to a Kruger safari with 8 spacious suites, each named after a great explorer. Their décor evokes the elegant and refined atmosphere of late 19th-century safaris. Thatched roofs, exotic woods, dry-stone walls, romantic beds, antique bathtubs, fine fabrics, dark leathers and a terrace with a private plunge pool complete Tintswalo's grand-century safari spirit. Safari activities will introduce you to the magic of Kruger, either by 4x4 or on foot in the company of a guide and tracker. You will also be offered the chance to meet the Shangaan community, who have ruled over Kruger since the dawn of time.
