The Extraordinary
Singita means miracle in the local Shangaan language. A miracle of unspoilt nature, a miracle of preserved intimacy, a miracle of inspired lodge design, a miracle of admirable fusion cuisine, a miracle of a spa that comes to you on your suite's deck after an emotional 4x4 or walking safari.
ETHICS
Singita has been owned by the Bailes family since 1925, acquired through two farms. It wasn't until 1994 that the Bailes family decided to open Singita to a handful of discerning visitors open to sustainable and responsible tourism. 18,500 hectares of nature are thus intelligently preserved with the cooperation of local communities.
