Habitas Alula

LUXURIOUS OASIS IN THE HEART OF THE DESERT

Nestled in the heart of an ancient oasis within the desert canyons of the Ashar Valley, Habitas Alula is Saudi Arabia's new secret, eco-friendly and luxurious desert hideaway. Its 96 eco-designed villas in a sleek oriental style offer an otherworldly feel and blend magically into a breathtaking rocky landscape. The villas are scattered across the grandiose desert and feature lovely outdoor terraces from which to enjoy exceptional sunsets. The hotel boasts a large infinity pool with a bar adjacent to the rock faces and a comprehensive wellness centre named «Thuraya», after a constellation of stars used by the Bedouin. The spa comprises treatment rooms, a fitness room, a yoga studio, and a magnificent outdoor agora for classes or meditation. To complement the holistic approach of the Habitas concept, the Tama restaurant («here and now» in Aramaic) offers a culinary journey through time. Its dishes showcase Middle Eastern cuisine, using fresh local ingredients and spices from the incense route, bringing the unique flavours of Saudi Arabia to life. For a totally immersive experience, a camel's stride from the hotel, Caravan by Habitas offers a stay in luxury Airstreams that combine optimal comfort with harmony with nature. Offering breathtaking views of the surrounding canyons or the date palm oasis, each accommodation features a private bathroom, air conditioning and a private outdoor terrace.
