Kings Pool Camp

Kings Pool underwent a makeover in 2019

The private Linyanti concession, bordering the Chobe National Park to the west, is a vast conservation area of over 125,000 hectares shared by only 3 camps. Kings Pool is one of these privileged camps, welcoming its guests to 8 luxury tents beautifully integrated into the lush vegetation of the Linyanti River. Kings Pool Camp overlooks the Linyanti River and the superb Kings Pool lagoon, named after the visit of a Scandinavian monarch who came to camp there in days gone by. The Linyanti region enjoys exceptional natural resources home to numerous animal species, including renowned herds of elephants. The range of safari activities will let you discover abundant wildlife on day and night 4x4 drives, guided bush walks and boat trips through the papyrus. Back at the camp, you will appreciate one of the 8 thatched-roof tents, decorated in a refined ethnic style and offering a large bedroom, a lounge, a private plunge pool on the deck, a relaxation gazebo, a bathroom with a double shower, and even an outdoor shower to feel even closer to nature. Note: Children accepted from 6 years old, but no family tent.

ETHICS

Kings Pool Camp is tackling several initiatives simultaneously: - Conservation projects (lions, elephants, wild dogs, red antelopes) - Operates entirely on solar panels - Greywater recycling - A 75% reduction in plastic use (drinking water produced on-site) - Use of biodegradable detergents (for washing up, laundry and personal care products)
