Accessible only by helicopter or seaplane from Port Hardy, Nimmo Bay is an intimate and authentic destination, located on the waterfront in the Great Bear Rainforest. With its exceptional natural setting, quality of service, and wide range of experiences, Nimmo Bay is the perfect retreat to explore the region's natural and wild treasures and enjoy a stay in complete harmony with nature. Nimmo has 6 solid wood chalets built on the water's edge on stilts and 3 chalets in the forest, offering superb mountain views. In the air, as on land or water, you will have breathtaking experiences in primeval forests populated by wild animals such as black and grizzly bears. You can walk on 10,000-year-old glaciers and go whale watching for orcas and humpbacks. Before setting off to explore the region, you'll indulge in homemade pastries in the morning, and in the evening, you'll gather by the fire to savour authentic, organic dishes offered by the chef, who sources locally.
